BISHOP ANTHONY DANIELS ANNOUNCES
PASTORAL CHANGES
FOR THE
DIOCESE OF GRAND FALLS

His Excellency, Most Reverend R. Anthony Daniels, Bishop of the Diocese of
Grand Falls, announces the following clergy changes:
Father
David Joy, presently Pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, King’s
Cove; St. Patrick’s Parish, Plate Cove; and Our Lady of Fatima Parish,
Clarenville, is appointed Pastor of St. Patrick’s Parish, Tilting,
effective August 26, 2011.
Father
Bill Pearce, presently Pastor of St. Patrick’s Parish, Tilting, is
appointed Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, Harbour Grace,
effective August 26, 2011.
Father
Frank Aylward, presently Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish,
Harbour Grace is appointed Pastor of Assumption Parish, Avondale;
Immaculate Conception Parish, Colliers; and St. Anne’s Parish,
Conception Harbour, effective August 26, 2011.
Father
Brian Colbert, remaining Diocesan Director of Catechetics & Youth,
is also appointed Pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, King’s Cove; St.
Patrick’s Parish, Plate Cove; and Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Clarenville,
effective August 26, 2011.
Father
Edward Brophy, presently Pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish,
Norris Arm, is appointed Pastor of St. Ignatius Parish, St. Alban’s,
effective August 26, 2011.
Father
Alberto Adaza, presently Administrator of St. Ignatius Parish, St.
Alban’s, is appointed Administrator of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish,
Norris Arm, effective August 26, 2011.
Father
John Odzangba is appointed Administrator of Holy Cross Parish,
Holyrood; SS Peter & Paul Parish, Harbour Main; and St. Alphonsus
Parish, Whitbourne, effective August 26, 2011.
